Tea, Tea Time, Person, Summer, Tea Party

Tea has been proven time after time to provide stress relief. It is a perfect go to in the morning for a nice pick me up or after a long stressful day to help you relax. But there are many brands to choose from and look through so we are going to look at some of the top best stress relieving teas. Whether you like chamomile, lavender, peppermint, spearmint, or something else there is a cup of tea for everyone.

I have put together a list of herbal teas that have the best ratings and reviews. Hopefully, you will find something to your liking.

What should you look for?

Just because tea is healthy doesn’t mean all tea is created equal. When looking for tea always read the nutrition labels to look for high-quality ingredients from reputable brands. Some teas do contain caffeine so if this is something you do not desire be sure to look first.

Some teas are not safe for moms to be so please be careful and do research before purchasing. Always consult your physician before trying anything you are unsure of or starting new diets.

Conclusion

Finding the best stress relieving tea may depend on your taste preference. If you have already tried a certain tea (ie, Chamomile) and enjoy its taste then most of the teas on this list may be something you would be open to. I drink chamomile and mint tea and enjoy both of the flavors. I even make ice tea out of the different flavored teas.

If I had to choose a tea from this list I would choose the first one on my list, Traditional Medicinals Cup of Calm. The reason being is the amount of different tea. Different herbal teas provide different health benefits and to get a mixture of them in one delicious blend would be great.

The calming blend would not only help with stress relief but it would be helpful with ensuring I get a good nights sleep. Something all parents need to run a fully functional home.

So what about you, which tea would you choose?

I would love to hear about your tips and techniques in the comments below. As always any feedback is always welcome!

  1. Ooohhhh I’m a tea drinker for sure! I really do enjoy the minty teas, so I definitely gravitate toward the Bigelow Mint Medley. I was never really into hot tea before I spent a considerable amount of time in SE Asia, which seems weird to me – that in such a hot and humid climate people drink so much hot tea!? My favorite is Mangosteen tea that I tried while spending some time in Bali. Have you had it? It’s sweet and doesn’t need sugar at all (I’ve got a serious sweet tooth problem, so this really surprised me). I love this list, thanks so much for sharing!

    1. Hi, Courtney,
I have never heard of Mangosteen tea but I weaned myself off of sweet tea so that I would lower my risk of developing more health problems. I make ice tea because I am not into hoe tea so much myself. That is weird to drink hot tea in hot climates, hehe. I too like mint teas, especially because I have digestive issues and they make my tummy feel better. I am going to look into that tea right now. I am glad you love this list. Thanks for sharing!

  2. Oooo that fancy rose/chamomile/lavender tea sounds yummy. I think Tension Tamer has been around for a long long time and is a go-to in many normal households. One thing I’ve learned is that even though my go-to teas tend to be inexpensive, it’s fun to branch out with a really fancy/nice tea sometimes, you notice the difference and subtleties in flavor. thanks for the great post!

    1. Hi Penelope,
You are right, you can taste the difference in more expensive teas and quality does matter especially in taste. I love to splurge on teas sometimes especially on the chamomiles and green teas. I love the different varieties of flavor. I am glad you found the post useful.
